The small farmer gets an amount of six thousand rupees annually from the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi. There is a provision in PM Kisan Yojana that if a farmer registers himself in the scheme for the first time, then he is given two installments simultaneously. In this scheme, a farmer is given six thousand rupees in a year at the rate of two thousand rupees.

How is the amount divided in the scheme?

In this scheme of the central government, the amount is divided on the basis of the information given by the state governments. In this case, this plan is completed in two phases. In the first phase, the state government forwards the list of eligible farmers by verifying the farmers, after which the money from the central government reaches the accounts of these farmers. This is the reason that after the release of 8 installments of the scheme, the farmers of West Bengal got this amount for the first time. Many times, farmers get late due to the time taken in verification by the state government. Incomplete information by farmers is an important reason for the delay in verification.

How do know the reason for the delay from online status?

• To know the status of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi, visit https://pmkisan.gov.in and click on beneficiary status
• Know your status by Aadhaar number, account number, or mobile number
• If the status shows FTO is Generated and Payment confirmation is pending, then understand that your money is about to come. It has been verified by the state government and It has been given an order to deposit your installment in your bank account.

The same if you go to the site and checked the status of your payment, and there you see RFT Signed by State, then that means, the government of the state has done your verification and after that, the government of the state has to Requests to the Centre to transfer money to your account. It is also clear that your installment has been stamped, and the fund will be credited to your account as soon as you get the green signal from the center.
