The food safety Mitra scheme was recently introduced by the FSSAI (Food Safety and Standards Authority of India) under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. The Food Safety Mitra Scheme was introduced by the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) with the aim of assisting all small and medium food enterprises in India in complying with food safety laws.

The Food Safety Mitra (FSM) Scheme will make it easier to do business by creating a transparent and organised ecosystem that supports food businesses.
