What is PM Kisan maan Dhan Yojana?

 The central government is running many schemes in the interest of farmers. In this, there is PM Kisan Maan Dhan Yojana, under which there is a provision of pension after 60 years of age. Any farmer between the age of 18 to 40 years can participate in this scheme, who will get 3000 rupees monthly or 36000 thousand rupees annually on monthly contribution after 60 years of age. For this contribution from Rs.55 to Rs.200 per month, about 2112941 farmers have joined this scheme so far.

How to take advantage of PM Kisan Maandhan Yojana

In the Kisan Pension Scheme, a small-holding farmer between the age of 18 to 40 years can participate, who have only 2 hectares of agricultural land. They will have to make a monthly contribution of Rs 55 to Rs 200 under the scheme for a minimum of 20 years and a maximum of 40 years, depending on their age. If you join at the age of 18, the monthly contribution will be Rs 55 or Rs 660 annually.

The government will also contribute equally to the contribution of the farmer in PM Kisan Maandhan, in the PM Kisan account. That is, if your contribution is Rs 55, then the government will also contribute Rs 55.

This state is ahead in taking advantage

According to the available data till 11 January 2021, about 2112941 farmers have joined this scheme so far. Among the states which have the highest number of registrations, Haryana is number 1 with 424446 registrations. There have been 310864 registrations in Bihar, 250939 in UP, 249372 in Jharkhand, and 2.3975 in Chhattisgarh.

If the scheme is left in the middle

If a farmer wants to leave the scheme in the middle, then his money will not be lost. The amount deposited till he leaves the scheme will get interested equal to the savings account of the banks. If the policyholder farmer dies, his wife will continue to get 50 percent of the amount.

How to do PM Kisan Maandhan Registration Online?

To take advantage of PM Kisan Maandhan Registration Online Pension Scheme, the farmer will have to register himself by visiting the Common Service Center (CSC). Aadhar card and Khasra-Khatauni copy will have to be taken for https://maandhan.in/ registration. For registration, 2 photographs and a bank passbook will also be required. The farmer will not have to pay any separate fee for registration. During the registration, the farmer's farmer pension unique number and pension card will be generated.

These farmers will not get the benefit

Small and marginal farmers are covered under the purview of any other social security scheme like the National Pension Scheme, Employees State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) Scheme, Employees Provident Fund Scheme (EPFO). Those farmers who have implemented Pradhan Mantri Shram Yogi Maan Dhan Yojana run by the Ministry of Labor and Employment option is selected for. Those farmers have opted for the Pradhan Mantri Laghu Trader Maan-Dhan Yojana, run by the Ministry of Labor and Employment.
