Why required ESI?

ESIC services are very beneficial for employees working in government or non-government or private sector. Under this, Employees need to deposit a nominal amount per month in ESIC (EMPLOYEES STATE INSURANCE CORPORATION). But instead their health-related expenses are borne by the ESIC, that is, if the employees are not well or ill in any way, then they can get free treatment at ESIC Hospital and become ineligible to work at home. The sitting ESIC is also given salary along with treatment, thus ESIC is very beneficial and helpful for you.

In this post, we will know how an employee can link his Aadhaar card to ESIC, as well as the Aadhaar of his/her nominee and their family members.

How to link Aadhaar to ESIC?

Visit on Members portal:

For this, first of all, you have to go to the member portal of ESIC, click here

Enter number and code:

Here employee has to fill his/her ESIC number and the captcha code is shown below and clicks on login.

Read employee details:

 After login, the Employee will be shown all his/her information in the employee details. Before going further read the details carefully.

Find links:

At the bottom, the employee will find some links, out of which you have to click on "update Aadhaar number".

Enter Aadhaar number:

On the next page the employee will be asked to enter his/her Aadhaar number. If he/she has just applied for the Aadhaar card, then they can also enter their Aadhaar enrollment number.

Click on save:

After entering the Aadhaar number, the employee will click on the save button, then he/she will come by typing "detailed saved successfully", now they will have to verify it, for this they click on "verify by OTP".

Enter number:

After this, an OTP will come on their registered mobile number, which they have to enter in the blank space on the next page. And click on the "verify Aadhaar" button, after which their Aadhaar will be verified and linked to their ESIC.

Who can update and link the Aadhaar with ESIC?

A registered employee who has ESI registration can update their Aadhaar with their ESIC with this process.
Similarly, they can link their nominee and family member's base with their ESIC.

A short process to link Aadhaar of the nominee:

To link the Aadhaar of the nominee, the details of your nominee will be shown on the tenth number in the member's profile and click on "update nominee Aadhaar details" below it and after entering the Aadhaar number, save it and verify it by OTP. 

Update family members Aadhaar:

Similarly in the column below, the names of your family members will be shown and you have to click on "update Aadhaar details" here and enter the Aadhaar number of the concerned person and save it, after that it will be verified by OTP Have to do it.
